Synopsis

A retired coal miner returns to his dying Appalachian hometown when a land development company threatens to demolish the neighborhood where he grew up. As he rallies his former neighbors to fight the buyout, long-buried secrets about a mine collapse twenty years ago come to light — forcing him to choose between saving the town and protecting the people he loves.
